My Final Round Is Up!

I've always been honest with all of you, my blog readers. I am an open book, as you may have noticed! I must say, I am disappointed with myself on this last entry for the design contest at Scrap Orchard. NOTE: I am NOT saying this to fish for compliments!! Just being honest here.
I like that I can give you all the behind the scenes feelings and whatnot that go along with all of this designing stuff. Bottom line is, I know I can do better, but I just couldn't get myself together this week. Don't get me wrong, I think it's "cute" and I like the colors, but it's not my best work, kwim?
Whatever is meant to be will be and this contest has been such a great learning experience for me and I know it will help me further my skills and my designs in the future.

Thank you, to all of you, for your support through this whole thing!

Much, much love!!!!!

Amy, I am sad you don't like this kit. It is great. The colors are bright and fun. They are perfect for this time of year with all of our out door festivities. The elements capture that childhood innocence. I will definitely be snagging the kit and using it :). I know you were not looking for complements but it is a great kit.Good Luck!! -lori D.

Amy, I too really liked the kit. Especially the watermellon button. I'm a kid at heart and I'm drawn to your fun fresh colors and designs. Keep up the good work. You're great!

Amy did you break the SO and GP sites??!! I can't get on either one tonight. Bummer. I think your smoking hot kits have caused a major rush to the sites and they can't handle the traffic.

Amy, I'm sorry you're disappointed and feel like you've lost your mojo. I, like the others, also love the kit. But I know that sometimes, it's just how YOU feel that matters. After all, you should be the one who knows you best, right?! I'm sorry you don't feel 100% about the kit, and I'm sorry you didn't get picked to move on. But I still love your stuff! If you start "maturing" in your designs, I may have to find a new favorite designer! Like Susan above said, I'm a kid at heart and your designs just make me feel good. Some days, that's pretty hard to do, so THANKS!

Amy, I found your kit at the SO gallery and it was my absolute favorite... even if you feel it was not your best work! In fact, I came home tonight and changed the background on my blog to incorporate it! It's not much, but you can feel free to check it our if you want to see a grateful blogger using your great designs! Thanks again!
