More Shape Up! News and a freebie!

Page by Sophie, age 5.
I gave Shape Up! to my friend Lori yesterday and it was a hit! Her 5 year old daughter Sophie watched Lesson 1 with her Mom and then 40 minutes later, proudly asked her to print out the adoable page! This was Sophie's first time using PhotoShop Elements, and didn't she do great? She is already planning her next page!

I am just so thrilled that this program is working out so well for all of the kiddos out there who have tried it! Not only are they introduced to the computer, but look at what they come up with! Their imaginations are in overdrive and that is a very good thing! The best part is the pride that they feel when they complete a page.

So, I have a little freebie for you today. This kitty didn't make it into the Shape Up! kit, so I saved it as a freebie! On a personal note, it had been a long time since I played with fabric and thread. Since making the little critters for Shape UP! several weeks ago, I have become re-obsessed with sewing and have been making all kinds of cute little Softies in my spare time. The things my Grandma taught me are starting to come back to me now too. I am sure some of these little guys will show up as freebies and in future kits.
