I am a SAHM (Stay At Home Mom), but lately, I feel more like a SHAM. I mean I'm doing the "Mom" part right, but there is more to this job than the title SAHM implies... the job also includes cooking (errr, mac and cheese again?), cleaning (no comment), laundry (yes! I have piles of it...all dirty), maintaining peace (where is Jimmy Carter when you need him?), shopping (for groceries, not shoes), providing transportation (help, I'm running on empty by this point) and being a good wife (if you know what I mean... heh, heh), among soooo many other things.
By the time I am done feeding the baby, burping the baby, changing the baby, playing with the baby, changing me and the baby (the spit up factor), and feeding and burping and changing and playing again...aaahhhh it's nap time. I settle in, nice and comfy with my lap top and start scrapping. Hmmm, but what about the cooking, and cleaning and laundry, and yada, yada, yada, you ask?
What can I say? I am a SAHM. I am at HOME and I am a MOM. That's good enough for me!
