New Kit and Be My Muse!

Now for something totally different... I had some fancy left in me from Round 3 of the design contest and I needed to get it out of my system HAHA, so here is my new kit. This was inspired and based on my Grandma Deedee. The white paper reminded me of her old bedroom wall paper as I was making it. Dee Dee loved flowers, especially roses, soft pinks and greens and blues and she really loved the bling so I had to throw some of that in there too! Dee Dee was known for her love of jewelry, mostly costume jewelry, and she had tons of it! I sometimes think Sophie is my Grandma reincarmated because she also LOVES jewelry and will climb right up on any stranger just to touch thier necklace or earrings. She has done this many times. The only jewelry I wear is my wedding rings and Sophie plays with that the whole time I am feeding her a bottle. Dee Dee would be very proud of her!

Who wants to be my muse? Post your kit request in the thread below. The winner will not only get a kit inspired by and named after them but also a $20 GC to my store! How fun! I have so many ideas floating around in my head all the time. Sometimes they keep me awake at night, but I also know that there are those kits scrappers may want that may not even occur to me! So if there is something you have been wanting, let me know, you just may get it!

Have a great day everyone!

Love this new kit! Beautiful colors and so girly! I love baskets, salt glaze pottery and woodenware - a kit with some of that as it's inspiration would be great. Also we live near the Smoky Mountains - mountains, deer, bears clear streams, etc - how about that for inspiration?

Oh, this is BEAUTIFUL Amy! I love the DEE DEE kit! Talk about mixing it up. I'm a button nut and maybe they are overdone? ... but I'm thinking blingy buttons and maybe spelling out words with them for her Royal Cuteness? also... ummmm, like flowers shaped by buttons and a crown outlined with the blingy buttons?? That's what popped into my head anywayz! Well, I should have left this puter an hour ago since I need to go do errands so I'm outta here. BFN

I LOVE this kit! I'm so glad you shared the inspiration for it. I love to know the story behind things. I'm pretty sure my Sophie is a clone of her Maternal Great Grandmother. They look exactly alike!

I think you should do a kit with fishies. Your doodlishious (new word) style would be so cute on a bright happy sunshiny little fishy beach kit with waves and boats and all sorts of fun ocean stuff. I'd love to scrap pics of my daughters playing in their wading pool with that kind of kit made in your own particular style.

I love your kits! all the warm beautiful colors and cute doodles! I have an "odd" request for a kit. I've been searching all over the net for an army kit that uses the new ACU print and can't seem to find one. i wish i had talent to try and do this myself but i'm so green to the digiscraping world and would love to see if you would try and take a stab at it. i enjoy seeing everything you create!!!!

I want a zoo kit. But not like all the other ones out there. I don't want a cutesy, baby looking kit. I want an adult, urban feel. I am seeing papers of just the animal prints. With a little grungie, dirty look. Some metal bars, real plant life, peacock feathers, footprints, etc...not sure how to describe it but know what I want! LOL

Ok, so I just love everything, and since Krystal H twisted my arm (not really, I swear!) I had to enter the contest!!! Now, I realize that everyone might not need it, but I TRULY need to have some thing for moving across the country. We're moving from CO to TN next month, and I need something road-trippy, moving, something like that... not too cartooney though, LOL!

Oh, and if you pick me, I will smile real perty-like!!! LOL

hey there amy girl...well, hmm first let me say that your kit is BEAUTIFUL! I remember my Great Grandma's house so well, it kinda reminds me of this kit..she had this amazing jar of buttons that she would sit out and let us guess how many were in there...it was AWESOME! After she passed, my Mom and I got the buttons :) OK..so a kit idea, huh!??!?! What i want is some crosses...funky and ornate and grungey with some cream papers..maybe scalloped edged paper like the notebook narratives that creative imaginations had... some word art...faith, believe, maybe a bible verse or something...oh and definitely inked edges :) ohhhhhhhhh..and what about a glitter overlay :) cuz you KNOW that momma LOVES the glitter.......xoxo

Hi Amy, I breed llamas. I have never found a kit for llama. Can you design a vintage llama kit for me??? I would just love that. One with crias (babies) and in pyjamas too (like the song)!! In dirty, grungy pinks, browns and jade tones. Thanks Georgia. otterexpress@hotmail.com
